A private photo journal for iPhone. One photo a day, in crayon.

Oobo is in development for the App Store; early access is available by email.

## How it works

Pick a photo. Oobo redraws it in crayon and leaves you a line to write.

1. **Pick a photo.** From your library or the camera. One photo, once a day.
2. **Let Oobo redraw it.** The composition stays. The faces, the place, the light. Only the surface turns to crayon.
3. **Write the line.** A date and a few words. That is the page.

The crayon pass takes about 30 seconds.

## Keepsakes

Every doodled day lands on a paper calendar. Export a month or set a day as a story.

- **Month recap.** One page with every doodle, ready to print or send.
- **Stories.** A 9:16 card in your color, with a watermark you can turn off.
- **Widgets.** Today’s page on the Home Screen, small or medium.

## Pricing

One doodle is free. Plus opens the rest of the month.

| Plan | Price | Notes |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Free | $0 | One doodle. |
| Oobo Plus, yearly | $29.99 per year | $2.50/mo, save 50%. |
| Oobo Plus, monthly | $4.99 per month | Cancel any time. |

The trial runs 3 days. Billing is handled by Apple, so the subscription can be cancelled in the App Store settings at any time. Included with Plus: unlimited doodles and retries; stories and home screen widgets; hd month recap and watermark toggle.

## Privacy in one paragraph

Photos, doodles and notes are stored on the device. There is no Oobo account, no login and no cloud journal. The selected photo is sent once to the AI image provider each::labs to make the crayon version, and Oobo keeps no copy on a server. The app has no advertising and no third-party analytics SDKs. Purchases go through Apple. The [privacy policy](https://oobo.app/privacy) has the full detail.

## Questions

### What is Oobo?

Oobo is a private photo journal for iPhone. One photo a day becomes a crayon doodle card with a short note.

### How is Oobo different from a photo album?

A photo album keeps every picture. Oobo keeps one a day and changes how it looks: the photo is redrawn in crayon, so the page reads as a memory rather than a file. There is no scrolling grid and no feed, only the day you chose.

### Where do my photos go?

The original stays on your iPhone. It is sent once to our AI image provider, each::labs, to make the crayon pass, and the doodle is saved next to it.

### Do I need an account?

No. There is no Oobo account, no login and no cloud library. Your pages live on your device.

### Can I use Oobo offline?

Yes. Browsing your pages, reading a note and exporting a month all work without a connection. Making a new doodle needs a connection, because the crayon pass runs on the AI provider.

### Does Oobo train AI on my photos?

No. Your photo is sent once to each::labs to make the crayon version and is not used to train a model. Oobo keeps no copy on a server, and the doodle is written back to your device.

### How much does Plus cost?

Oobo Plus is $29.99 a year or $4.99 a month, after a 3-day free trial. One doodle is free.

### What happens when the trial ends?

Apple charges the plan you picked on day four. If you cancel before then, nothing is charged and the free doodle stays on your device. You can cancel in the App Store settings, and purchases can be restored on a new device.

### Which devices does Oobo support?

iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or later. The app is designed for iPhone first, and the month recap exports at print resolution.

### When can I get it?

Oobo is in development for iPhone, iOS 17 or later. Join the early access list and we’ll send the App Store link at launch.
